Any proxy format, in every other format.

Paste one proxy per line in whatever format you have. Get the URL, the colon lists and Playwright settings back, with passwords encoded where they need to be. Nothing leaves your browser.

Paste proxies above.

Which format to use where

Every form, the encoding table and code for each tool are in proxy format: IP, port, username and password. To check what a site sees once the proxy is set, use the proxy check.

Common questions

How do I convert host:port:user:pass to a proxy URL?

Paste the lines here and pick the protocol. The URL form is scheme://user:password@host:port, with the username and password percent-encoded so characters like @ and : in a password do not break the URL.

Which proxy format should I use?

The full URL (http:// or socks5h://) is the most portable: curl, Python requests, Node agents, Scrapy and environment variables all read it. Playwright and Puppeteer want separate server, username and password fields. Bulk tools and browser profile managers usually take the colon list.

Why does my proxy password break the URL?

Characters with a meaning in URLs must be percent-encoded inside credentials: @ becomes %40, : becomes %3A, / becomes %2F, # becomes %23. The converter encodes them for the URL forms and leaves them as typed in the colon lists.

Is it safe to paste my proxy credentials here?

The conversion runs in your browser with no request to any server, so nothing you paste leaves the page. You can check it by opening the page, turning off your network, and converting.
