Residential proxies, rotating or sticky.
Requests leave through real home connections on consumer ISPs, across a pool large enough to rotate on every request. It is the widest tier we sell and the default for collecting the pages home users in a market see.
Sold per GB, with a founding rate held for life. How the volume bands work.
How rotating residential proxies work
A residential proxy routes your request through a device on a household internet connection. The target sees a consumer ISP and an address that ordinary people browse from.
Because the pool is large, you decide how long you keep an address. Rotate on every request to spread load across many IPs, or hold one for a timed session when the target expects continuity.
Targeting narrows the pool to the country, region or city you pick, from the locations with devices online when you order.
Where residential proxies fit
- E-commerce price and stock monitoring across markets
- Local SEO and search result tracking by location, where the engine permits automated access
- Ad verification on desktop and home networks
- Brand protection and marketplace monitoring
- Pages that show home users different content than hosting networks
Where they do not
- Keeping one identity for days. Home devices go offline; an ISP proxy holds.
- Platforms that only trust mobile origins.
- High-volume jobs on targets that accept hosting networks. Datacenter is faster there.
What you control
- Country, region, city
- Picked from locations with devices online at the moment you order.
- Rotation
- A new IP on every request, a timer from 5 to 60 minutes, or sticky for as long as the device stays online.
- Protocol
- HTTP and SOCKS5, both included.
- Authentication
- Username and password.
Residential proxies pricing
The rate drops at each volume band, and founding members hold a further 5% for the life of the account. Rates for every band go to waitlist members with their invite.
| Volume band | Rate |
|---|---|
| 1 to 100 GB | Starting rate |
| 101 to 300 GB | Lower rate |
| 301 to 1,000 GB | Lower rate |
| 1,001 to 2,000 GB | Lower rate |
| 2,001+ GB | Custom - talk to us |
Checkout shows the full amount, card processing included, before you pay. The pricing page has every volume band and the fair-use terms.
Setup in one request
The dashboard gives you one gateway endpoint; targeting and session settings travel with the credentials it generates:
curl -x http://USERNAME:PASSWORD@HOST:PORT https://ipinfo.io/jsonSend the same request three times on per-request rotation. Three different residential IPs in the responses means rotation is working.
Questions about rotating residential proxies
What is a residential proxy?
A proxy that sends your traffic through a device on a household internet connection, so the target sees a consumer ISP address instead of a server.
What is the difference between rotating and sticky residential proxies?
Rotating gives a new IP on every request, which spreads load for scraping. Sticky keeps one IP for a session, from 5 to 60 minutes or for as long as the device stays online, for anything that needs continuity.
Can I target a specific city?
Yes, where devices are online in that city. The order form lists only countries, regions and cities with live supply at that moment.
How are residential proxies billed?
Per GB, as a one-off package with no renewal. The rate drops as the package grows.
Residential or datacenter proxies?
Datacenter when the target accepts hosting networks; it is the faster tier. Residential when the pages you need are the ones home users see, such as local results and prices by market.
